"Copyright in the Library"

On April 4, the Scientific Library participated in the event "Copyright in the Library" with Oksana Bruy, President of the Ukrainian Library Association, and Serhiy Gavenka, a copyright specialist and legal advisor of the UCU.Issues related to the new edition of the Law of Ukraine "On Copyright and Related Rights" were discussed;what exactly has changed, how to use it, why it applies to libraries, and generally about copyright in libraries.Cases of free use of works were also discussed;"orphan" works";use of Creative Commons licenses;correlation of the new special law and the Civil Code of Ukraine.
