"Serhiy Baltazarovych Skadovsky - the founder of the southern gate of Ukraine"

March 2 marks the 160th anniversary of the birth of Serhiy Baltazarovich Skadovsky (born in 1863 in the city of Kherson), a Ukrainian landowner of Polish origin, public figure, philanthropist, trustee, philanthropist and founder of the city of Skadovsk.

On the occasion of the birthday of an outstanding philanthropist, the KSU Scientific Library offers to watch the video "Serhiy Baltazarovych Skadovsky - the founder of the southern gate of Ukraine". 

Residents of Skadovsk can be proud of the fact that a true patriot, a person who left such a deep mark in the history of Southern Ukraine, stood at the origins of the city's foundation.
