February 14 - International Book Donation Day
February 14 is not only a holiday for lovers.It is also International Book Giving Day.(International Book Giving Day).
The purpose of this day is to inspire people around the world to donate books on February 14 - to a library, a friend, a family member.
It is believed that on this day those who give books and those who instill a love of reading should unite.Although the holiday of gifting books is quite young, since it began in 2012, the Scientific Library of KhSU constantly receives books as a gift from our teachers, students and employees.And not only on this day, for which we are grateful to our readers.
Also on this day, the KSU Scientific Library thanks Lviv Polytechnic National University, National Institute of Strategic Studies, Kharkiv National University named after Vasyl Nazarovych Karazin, SE National Cultural and Art and Museum Complex "Mystetskyi Arsenal", Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, UkrainianInstitute of National Memory and many others.
Today, we are appealing to all those willing and able to participate in the holiday of giving books.
