Movie Talks
This week, the KSU English Speaking Club discussed contemporary cinema. We were very pleased to welcome our regular foreign guests: Eric Matherly from the United States and representatives of the University of Kent (UK) - Russell Mole and Anthony Manning, as well as new members: Mary and Tierney, who have expressed a desire to join our meetings!
For an hour, the participants shared their opinions on facts and fictions in historical and biographical films, their preferences and impressions of films of different genres, answered the question whether their tastes have changed over time, and finally discussed watching films in foreign languages and recommended each other interesting films to watch during the winter holidays.
It was a pleasure to spend this time in a good company of like-minded people!
