At KSU, students and teachers were told about the opportunities for international activity.
Today, on October 20, Kherson State University hosted the workshop "Opportunities of the European Union Programs in the Field of Higher Education". The event was held in the framework of the EU Career Days at KSU.
The event was opened by Vice-Rector for International, Social, Humanitarian and Scientific-Pedagogical Work Alla Tsapiv. She noted that Kherson State University has been participating in the EU Career Days for 15 years in a row. International activity has always been and remains a priority for KSU. And even in today's conditions considerable attention is paid to it.
"We have fruitful partnership with various EU programs, both in the educational and scientific environment. The workshop "Opportunities of the European Union Programs in the Field of Higher Education", which is dedicated specifically to international programs and cooperation with the EU, will reveal new opportunities for the international activity of students of all levels of education," the Vice-Rector emphasized.
The speaker of the workshop was Head of the International Initiatives and Project Management Department of KSU Yevheniia Revenko. She spoke in detail about the current available opportunities provided by the European Union. She started with the most famous large program that is implemented and supported in the field of education in Europe - Erasmus +.
Ms. Revenko explained step by step how to join the international program and what needs to be done for this. She also recommended to follow the news of the department on the website and in social networks. The speaker also separately focused on additional opportunities - studying on a semester exchange program.
At the end of the workshop, Alla Tsapiv emphasized that the International Initiatives and Project Management Departments shares a digest of offers every week so that everyone can join various programs.
The Vice-Rector also encouraged students and teachers to improve their foreign language skills. After all, this is one of the requirements for participation in international initiatives.
