November 30 - October 1, 2021 on the basis of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology of Kherson State University was the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Sociocultural and psychological dimensions of personality development", which brought together more than 200 participants. The event was organized by the Department of Psychology.
The conference was co-organized by the Laboratory of Psychology of Masses and Communities of the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine; Association of Political Psychologists of Ukraine; Department of Psychology, Zaporizhia National Technical University; Department of General and Practical Psychology, Ivan Ogienko Kamyanets-Podilsky National University; Department of General, Age and Social Psychology of Taras Shevchenko National University "Chernihiv Collegium"; Department of Psychology, Sumy State Pedagogical University named after AS Makarenko; Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Nizami Tashkent State University (Republic of Uzbekistan); Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Languages of Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino (Republic of Uzbekistan).
The first vice-rector of Kherson State University Serhiy Omelchuk addressed the guests of the conference with a welcoming speech. Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology Iryna Shaposhnikova, Head of the Department of Psychology Olena Blynova, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee Natalia Tavrovetska greeted the conference participants.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss the problems of the current social situation of personal and social development in order to develop recommendations and implement a comprehensive scientific approach to improving the social and adaptive capabilities of the individual; expansion of the problems of applied research in the socio-psychological sphere; study of the peculiarities of the formation and development of personal qualities, the system of relations, the factors that determine the dynamics and patterns of personality formation in modern reality.
