On March 18, the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of historical education" took place

The conference was organized by the Department of History, Archeology and Teaching Methods. At the beginning of the conference, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology Iryna Shaposhnikova made an introductory speech. She stressed that history as a science and an academic discipline is quite ideological. "It is through knowledge of history that the national idea is formed and strategic plans for the development of the state are built. Therefore, the problems of historical education need to be solved in the new conditions of the educational process, the main technology of which has become a mixed form of education, "Iryna Shaposhnikova stressed. And she wished the participants of the scientific event constructive discussions and fruitful work. The agenda of the conference consisted of a plenary session and work in sections. Thus, the participants considered a number of topical issues of historical education - methods of teaching history in secondary and higher education; historical education in the face of COVID-19 challenges; current issues of history teaching; The Holodomor was the genocide of 1932-1933 in history lessons.
