Thank you to everyone who joined our webinar "Investigation of crimes against humanity through the prism of forensic archeology" today.
The event is timed to the 70th anniversary of Human Rights Day, which is celebrated on December 10 around the world.
The webinar was attended by staff from the Center for Archeology, School of Law, Police and Forensics, Staffordshire University (United Kingdom), the Department of Public and International Law and Law Enforcement, and The Raphael Lemkin Center for Genocide Studiesof Kherson State University, as well as students and colleagues from other cities.
The keynote speakers were Dr. Caroline Sturdy Colls and her colleague, PhD student Daria Cherkaska, who spoke about modern approaches to studying places of mass violence through innovative methods and the involvement of archaeologists, criminologists and historians. The meeting was moderated by Dr. Yurii Kaparulin, Associate Professor of KSU.
