Today, January 27, we commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.

It was on this day in 1945 that the soldiers of the 1st Ukrainian Front released the prisoners of the largest Nazi death camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau, in Auschwitz. More than 30,000 Jews and Roma were killed by the Nazis in the Kherson region. Patients of the Kherson Psychiatric Hospital and prisoners of war were also shot. Let us remember them and pray for them!
