Kherson hosted a press conference on "The state and problems of respect for the rights of victims of repression and victims of repression in Kherson region: the first results of the implementation of the new version of the Law of Ukraine" On the rehabilitation of victims of repression by the communist totalitarian regime of 1917-1991.

During the press conference they spoke about the results of work, problems and prospects, the new order of rehabilitation. It was emphasized that at the local level there are no uniform requirements for issuing certificates of rehabilitated persons, there are no forms of certificates. Moreover, two years after the new law is adopted, the old certificate form with the old rule of law is in effect. All of this has led to massive denials of certification and social assistance across the country. Some citizens had to apply for re-rehabilitation.In the Kherson region, there were one third of such applicants. Also, in the year of work, through close cooperation with free secondary legal aid, four applicants went to court and won him in the first instance.
