Head of the department Natalia Kuzovova participated in the international conference Ireland, Ukraine and the Empire: Dependence. Conflict. Memory where the results of the Holodomor 1932-1933 Holodomor study in the Kherson region, made possible through the Holodomor Research and Education Center, were presented.

This event was a great platform for communication between historians, political scientists, economists and journalists from different countries and schools. The high level of organization of the event, through which the exchange of views took place in non-stop mode, should be noted separately. It was a great opportunity to get to know the level of knowledge about Ukraine's history in the world, to find out what our foreign colleagues see in the future, what problems of historical science are acute in Western Europe and America, to gain useful experience and to draw important conclusions.
