A seminar for European teachers on Holocaust from the Bullets in the Occupied Soviet Territories was held in France from 22 to 24 November 2019. Among the representatives from Ukraine was an associate professor of the Department of History, Archeology and Teaching Methods Yuri Kaparulin.

The opening of the event took place in Paris, at the Yahd in-Unum Research Center. For the next two days, the participants of the seminar worked at the National Museum of History Mémorial de Caen in Cannes, partnering with the event. Among the representatives from Ukraine was an associate professor of the Department of History, Archeology and Teaching Methods Yuri Kaparulin.The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to discuss many issues related to the criminal activities of the Nazi regime during the German-Soviet War, in particular in Ukraine. In addition to the Holocaust study, Yahad in-Unum also presented the findings of their work on the study of genocide in Guatemala, Syria and Iraq. Thus, it was emphasized on the relevance of the topic of genocide in the modern world. One of the highlights of the discussion was the question of how and why to teach these topics to students and students.
