The Days of Science at the Pedagogical Faculty were opened by an online meeting led by Nataliia Borisenko titled "Learning from Nature: Young Children About Interesting Scientific Things": How to Properly Organize Research Activities in the Preschool Environment. An important factor in children's development is their independent exploratory-research activity, as all children are by nature researchers. Conducting research by preschoolers is valuable because they possess significant persuasive power and contribute to the maximum activation of children's mental activity.

By using numerous methods and techniques to introduce preschoolers to the natural world, educators create conditions for children to acquire elementary knowledge in geography, biology, meteorology, anatomy, ecology, etc. Additionally, they have the opportunity to realize that humans are not mere observers of nature but an integral part of it.
