Kherson State University announces a competition for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students to participate in the international academic mobility program
(Erasmus+ KA171) to the University of the Côte d'Azur (Nice, France)

Fields of study

For bachelors:
- philology, art and communications;
- humanities and social sciences (anthropology, history, geography, sociology, psychology);
- economics and management;
- science and technology (earth sciences, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science);
- physical education and sports.

For masters and PhD:
- philology, art, economics, management, humanities (sociology, history, psychology);
- computer science;
- medicine.

Program conditions:

duration of study – 5 months (for postgraduates from 2 to 12 months);
mobility starts from the second semester of 2026/27 academic year;
studies will be conducted in English.

Selection criteria:

- academic performance;

- participation in scientific, public and university activities;

- motivation and justification for participation in the academic mobility program;

- correspondence of the chosen disciplines to the educational program;

- level of foreign language proficiency (not lower than B2).

Financial support

The Erasmus+ program provides:

a scholarship of 900 euros per month;

a travel grant of 395 euros.

Additional funding is provided for students with special needs - 250 euros per month.

List of required documents for the competition:

• Application for participation in the competition with a dean's visa and an indication of the average grade point average (can be obtained from the International Relations Department international@ksu.ks.ua).
• CV;
• motivation letter;
• original extract from the individual curriculum (Transcript of Records) signed by the rector in Ukrainian and a translation into English (to issue an extract, you need to contact the dean's office of your faculty);
• scanned copy of the school certificate and supplement (original) and translation into English (for bachelors) (the translation can be done independently and submitted for verification to the International Relations Department international@ksu.ks.ua);
• scanned copy of the bachelor's diploma and translation into English (for masters) (the translation can be done independently and submitted for verification to the International Relations Department international@ksu.ks.ua);
• language certificate (English or French, if available);
• scanned copy of the international passport.

For postgraduate students additionally:

- detailed research project (goals, preliminary schedule);

- invitation letter from the laboratory or faculty of the Université Côte d’Azur (if available).

It is necessary to submit documents to the KhSU International Relations Department by email at international@ksu.ks.ua by June 1, 2026.

Free semester study at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland) 

The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań is one of the largest and oldest higher education institutions in Poland. The city of Poznań is not only the center of the theater, music and art space of Poland, but also a cultural, commercial and business center.

The university has three campuses, which are located in different parts of Poznań. They are not only places for acquiring academic knowledge, but also create the identity of the city. They are its calling card and a space open to residents.

Studying at the Pomeranian University (the Republic of Poland) for a year within the Double Degree Programme

The Double Diploma Programme is a joint educational programme of Ukrainian and foreign universities, which allows Ukrainian students to simultaneously study under integrated study programmes in two educational institutions of different countries and receive the diplomas of both Ukrainian and European universities. The Double Diploma Programme complies with Ukrainian and Polish legislation on higher education, regulations of the relevant ministries and European legislation in the field of education.  Students enrolled at KSU are eligible to participate in the programme. Under the Double Degree Programme, a higher education student studies simultaneously under joint study programmes of two universities and is a student of both educational institutions. The periods of study are determined by the parties and agreed upon in accordance with the joint curricula.

The Pomeranian University is a higher education institution in Poland. The University is located 18 km from the Baltic Sea, in the city of Słupsk. The University has a campus with three dormitories, a canteen, a club, and a sports complex.

The students of the following specialities have the opportunity to join the Double Degree Programme:

- 014 Secondary education, 014.021 English language and literature;

- 014 Secondary education, 014.022 German language and literature;

- 014 Secondary education, 014.024 Spanish language and literature;

- 035 Philology, 035.041 Germanic languages and literature (translation included), first language - English);

Duration of study: 3 years

Language of instruction: English, Polish (except for philology majors).

Tuition fees: 400 euros per year

Dormitory accommodation: free of charge.

Transport and food costs: at your own expense.

First of all, you need to get the consent of the dean of your faculty.

 Required documents:

1. Registration on the website of the Pomeranian University (conducted with a representative of the KSU Department of International Initiatives and Project Activities);

2. International passport (scan);

3. Documents confirming the completion of previous education (for bachelors - a certificate of complete secondary education and an appendix with grades translated into Polish. For masters - a bachelor's diploma and a supplement with grades translated into Polish). The translation must be done by a Polish sworn translator.

Registration deadline:  August of each year.

Deadline for submitting documents to the Pomeranian University: 15th October of each year.

3. Confirmation of the recruitment fee - PLN 85;

4. Confirmation of tuition fees - 400 euros (can be divided into 4 payments);

5. A photocopy of the academic record (all previous semesters) with a translation into Polish.

Free semester study at the Pomeranian University in Słupsk (Poland)

Pomeranian University is a higher education institution in Poland. The University is located 18 km from the Baltic Sea, in the city of Słupsk. The University has a campus with three dormitories, a canteen, a club, and a sports complex.

Students of KSU can receive free education at the University of Pomerania for one semester in a particular field of study in accordance with the chosen study programme.

Students of the following specialities have the opportunity to join the semester study:

- Secondary education (English language and literature)’,

- Secondary Education (German Language and Literature),

- Philology (Germanic languages and literature (translation included));

Language of instruction: English, Polish, Ukrainian (except for philology majors).

Tution fee: free

Dormitory: 150 PLN per month.

 Transport and food cost: at your own expense.

 Terms of study: I semester: October - February; II semester: February - June.

 First of all, you need to get the consent of the dean of your faculty.

 Required documents:

1. Semester exchange participant application form (can be downloaded after registration on the Pomeranian University website. Filled in with a representative of the KSU Department of International Initiatives and Project Activities);

 2. International passport (scan);

 3. Photo;

 4. Selected disciplines for study from the course list (must be 30 ECTS. They are selected and agreed upon together with the faculty leadership)

Scholarships for studying at the University of Klagenfurt ( Austria)

The University of Klagenfurt (AAU) is a young, lively, innovative university located in the Austrian state of Carinthia, a meeting point of three cultures. The international atmosphere of the university provides a high-quality education in the chosen speciality and invaluable experience of communication in a multinational community. The university has 4 faculties with 34 departments and offers bachelor's, master's, and training courses.

Students in the second year of study or later can apply to participate in the selection process.

The student must choose 16 ECTS.

Payments: 

Tuition fee – free. Travel and accommodation costs at the student's expense.

Required documents:

1.         Application for participation in the competition with a Dean's visa and an indication of the GPA.

2.         A motivation letter in English from the applicant (not less than a page in length).

3.         A letter of recommendation from a lecturer/supervisor/dean, written in English.

4.         Original extract from the individual curriculum for the entire period of study and its translation into English

5.         The original extract from the individual curriculum for the last six months and its translation into English.

6.         A scanned copy of the school certificate (original) and its translation into English (for bachelors).

7.         A scanned copy of the bachelor's degree and its translation into English (for masters).

8.         High quality photo in digital format (as for a visa)

9.         A scanned copy of your international passport.

10.       Certificate of English language proficiency at least B2 (if available).

On the day of the competition, the participant must be present and ready to present himself/herself to the jury members, explain his/her motivation for taking semester studies at the University of Klagenfurt (Republic of Austria).

 On this day, based on the participants' presentations and answers to the questions, the members of the competition committee will select the applicants who will take part in the semester study at the University of Klagenfurt ( Austria).

 All interested persons wishing to take part in the competition for semester studies at the University (Republic of Austria) should first apply to the Dean of the Faculty for permission to participate in the competition.

3-month internship at the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa 🇵🇱

Duration: 3 months (March 1, 2026 - May 31, 2026);
Cost: free;
Accommodation: room in the "Skrzat" dormitory (550 PLN/month per person);
Language of instruction: Polish;
Scholarship: none.

Conditions:
- possession of a foreign passport;
- proficiency in Polish at level B2, minimum B1;
- insurance policy and medical certificate;
- be at least 18 years old.

Additionally: there is an option for an intensive Polish language course (the cost depends on the number of participants).

Competition for budget grants for youth

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Basic Principles of Youth Policy”, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian Youth Foundation, announced a Competition for Budget Grants for 2026. The state budget provides for the implementation of the program with 45 million UAH.

Who can receive a grant?

• youth and children's public associations;
• young people;
• representatives (members) of youth councils and student and pupil self-government bodies;
• youth workers;
• youth advisors;
• individual entrepreneurs and legal entities engaged in youth work.

Priority areas of support in 2026

• Expanding youth participation in public life and strengthening social cohesion. Supporting initiatives that promote active citizenship, youth participation in decision-making, and the development of local communities.
• Developing resilience, a safe environment, barrier-free access, and psycho-emotional well-being of youth.
• Projects aimed at supporting mental health, inclusiveness, creating safe spaces, and strengthening social resilience.
• Promoting self-realization and economic empowerment of youth.
• Initiatives to develop entrepreneurial skills, employment, professional orientation and economic independence of young people.

Small Grants Competition within the Impulse Project

The International Renaissance Foundation together with the Eastern Europe Foundation, with the support of the Norwegian Agency for Development and Cooperation (Norad) in partnership with Sweden (Sida), have launched a three-year Project “Impulse: Empowering Civil Society for Resilience and Reconstruction of Ukraine”.

The purpose of the competition: to support civil society projects aimed at the restoration and sustainable development of communities, strengthening the participation of residents in decision-making processes, as well as the implementation of the principles of transparent and accountable governance in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.

Who can participate:

Civil organizations, charitable foundations, public unions and other civil society institutions registered in Ukraine and with at least one year of experience.

Priority areas of support:

• Citizen participation in planning and implementing community reconstruction;
• Development of local policies and strategies in accordance with EU standards;
• ensuring transparency, accountability and effectiveness of local governance;
• promoting gender equality, inclusion and human rights;
• strengthening the capacity of communities for sustainable development.

Funding amount: approximately up to 1–1.5 million UAH per project. Project duration: determined by the terms of a specific wave of the competition.

Deadline for submission of applications: the competition is implemented in the format of several waves. The current deadlines are determined for each wave separately; the final deadline for submission of applications within the program is August 27, 2026.
