The purpose of the activity is the organization of work on the implementation of research activities and the provision of training, research and consulting services.
Main tasks:
- study of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the modern educational space of Kherson region;
- accumulation and analysis of indicators that characterize the educational space, preparation of relevant analytical materials;
- providing information support for the implementation of regional programs;
- development of sociological tools and conducting applied sociological research in the education system of the region;
- fulfillment of orders for conducting social research of structural subdivisions of the university, educational institutions and state institutions and organizations, OTG and public associations of Kherson region;
- creation of a sociological data bank in order to provide executive authorities, mass media, etc. with scientifically substantiated sociological information;
- participation in international, national, regional scientific conferences, seminars and projects;
- organization and holding of scientific and practical events of all-Ukrainian, regional level (conferences, round tables, pedagogical readings, seminars, etc.) related to the development of the region;
- publication of monographs, collections of scientific papers, preparation of scientific reports;
- reviewing scientific and methodological materials of sociological content for participants in the educational process.
