On April 20, 2026, Valerii Ivanovych Kuzmych, Associate Professor of the Department of Algebra, Geometry, and Mathematical Analysis and Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, delivered a lecture for physics and mathematics teachers of the Kherson region. The lecture was titled: "Designing a Modern Educational Process for Physics Studies through the Integration of Natural Sciences and Mathematics." The session was attended by 24 teachers.

On April 16, faculty members of the Department of Algebra, Geometry, and Mathematical Analysis held an online event for graduating students of the Komyshany General Secondary School of I-III Degrees No. 26 (Kherson City Council). The meeting focused on the presentation of the "Secondary Education (Mathematics and Computer Science)" educational program. This event served as a platform to discuss the advantages of studying at Kherson State University (KSU) and the professional prospects of becoming a teacher of mathematics and informatics.

The Head of the Department of Algebra, Geometry, and Mathematical Analysis at Kherson State University, Volodymyr Ivanovych Tatochenko, has received a Letter of Commendation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for:

• initiative and perseverance;
• high professionalism;
• conscientious performance of official duties;
• a significant personal contribution to the development of the education and science sector in Ukraine.

On October 8, 2025, Valerii Ivanovych Kuzmych, Professor of the Department of Algebra, Geometry and Mathematical Analysis, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, delivered a lecture to natural science teachers of the Kherson Oblast on the topic: "Methodological Foundations for the Integration of Mathematics Teaching with Natural Sciences." The lecture was attended by about a hundred teachers from the region, as well as students from the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Informatics of Kherson State University.
