The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Preschool and Primary Education actively participates in international cooperation, playing a significant role in fostering global collaboration and enhancing the quality of education. Through involvement in international projects, academic exchanges, and joint research, the department promotes the implementation of innovative teaching methods and educational approaches. These efforts not only broaden the horizons for faculty and students but also strengthen ties with leading educational institutions worldwide, allowing for the exchange of experiences and the introduction of best practices in the fields of pedagogy and psychology.
KSU Opens the Friedrich Fröbel Educational Center: Education That Shapes the Future
Today, on February 25, 2025, something that seemed impossible just a few years ago has happened within the walls of Kherson State University.
Anastasiia Volianiuk, lecturer of the Faculty of Pedagogy and assistant to the dean for international activities, completed an internship at the Pomeranian University under the Erasmus+ program, gave a series of open lectures for Polish students from the author's course "Motivational Management"
On the occasion of the birthday of Kherson State University on November 16, a student round table "Academic Mobility in Action" was held at the Pedagogical Faculty.
On January 25, the Swiss city Basel hosted the annual International Peace Forum (since 2017). Traditionally, the event brings together more than 300 participants from all over the world - political figures, activists, educators, scientists, journalists, representatives of business, civil society and art. According to the plans of the organizers, the cooperation of representatives of various professions inspires innovative thinking, fresh solutions, as well as new partnerships, which strengthens thinking about the need for peace among the general public.
Kherson State University systematically creates opportunities for international activities and academic mobility of applicants, and some events become the beginning of long-term cooperation. For example, back in June 2023, students of the Faculty of Pedagogy Karina Tkachenko and Veronika Bevzenko participated in the Summer School for students of pedagogy, defectology, preschool and primary education in Poznań, and today they continue to work in a joint Polish-Ukrainian project at the initiative of representatives of the Faculty of Education of Sciences of Adam Mickiewicz University
On March 26, on the occasion of the birthday celebration of the Faculty of Pedagogy, an open meeting was held with the winners of international internships:
"Academic Mobility: Expectations and Impressions", which was organized by Assistant Dean for International Affairs Anastasia Volianiuk.
Obtaining majors 013 Primary education Oleksandr Tatsoha, Victoria Fediv and Victoria Morozenko were selected, received a grant and are implementing the project "Energy of the Nation", created within the framework of the UPSHIFT program, the national wave of which is implemented by the NGO "SCC Zadzerkally" with the support of UNICEF and the Japanese government.
The teachers of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the KSU, Anastasiia Volianiuk and Yevheniia Morozova took part in one of the largest events of the year - the 3rd International Cooperation Forum of Switzerland (IC Forum 2024), which took place in Basel on April 11 and 12, 2024.
As part of a delegation of Ukrainian partner universities, representatives of Kherson State University took part in the best practices training at Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic) from April 22 to 26 under the DigiUni: Digital University — Open Ukrainian Initiative program. The first vice-rector, professor Serhiy Omelchuk, associate professor Natalya Kuzovova, and teacher Anastasiia Volianiuk studied the methodology of developing course content for the digital platform from KhSU.
