The Faculty of Business and Law participates in shaping sustainable change in the region and society. We develop an approach to sustainable development by integrating it into educational programs, science, projects, and partnerships.
Our activities are aimed at forming innovative solutions and practices that contribute to the restoration of the Kherson region, the development of communities, and the improvement of the quality of education. In line with the strategy of Kherson State University, the faculty supports key principles of sustainability and creates an environment where education and science help the region move forward and build a sustainable future.
We believe in the power of knowledge, communities, and partnerships to shape sustainable solutions and develop our region.

The faculty has created an educational environment in which sustainable development topics are integrated into curricula at various levels. Bachelor's degree students are taught courses in “Sustainable Development” and “Social Responsibility,” which develop basic competencies in sustainable management and environmental and social awareness.
At the master's level, students have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge through specialized courses such as “Sustainable Development and ESG” and “Sustainable Development Management in Tourism and Hospitality,” which focus on contemporary international approaches, ESG strategies, responsible business management, and the development of sustainable solutions in the service sector.
The Faculty of Business and Law conducts scientific research aimed at developing sustainable solutions for the region and the business environment.
The Department of Economics, Management, and Administration is conducting research on “Strategic Management of Economic Activities of Enterprises in the Context of Sustainable Development” (state registration number 0123U104063). The research supervisor is Prof. Y. V. Ushkarenko, Doctor of Economics.
In 2024-2025, the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship implemented the Evrizon project, aimed at the sustainable development of deoccupied territories and the strengthening of local communities. Scientific supervisor - Doctor of Economics, Prof. Mokhnenko A. S.
