The educational programme in 081 Law trains specialists who understand law as a tool for protecting human rights, regulating social relations and supporting the recovery of de-occupied territories. Full study pathway: Bachelor → Master → Postgraduate (PhD).
The educational and professional programme “Law” is aimed at developing fundamental and advanced legal knowledge, skills to apply norms of substantive and procedural law, analyse case-law and protect human rights.
The study of law is based on legal doctrines, values, principles and human rights standards, and also takes into account the challenges of recovering de-occupied territories.
Special attention is paid to practical skills:
The Bachelor’s programme provides a fundamental legal education and understanding of the legal system: from constitutional foundations to individual branches (civil, criminal, administrative, labour, financial, international law).
Duration of study: 3 years 10 months (Bachelor)
Forms of study: full-time / part-time (according to the KSU Admission Rules).
The Master’s programme is focused on advanced legal analysis and complex cases and on building the ability to work at the intersection of law, public policy and business processes.
Duration of study: 1 year 4 months (Master)
Admission: based on a Bachelor’s degree (Law or related fields) according to the Admission Rules.
The postgraduate (PhD) level is for those who aim to become a researcher, lecturer or legal analyst and to influence the development of legal policy, reforms and practices of state recovery.
PhD students work on their own research, publish academic articles and participate in national and international projects, including those related to the recovery of the Kherson region and community development.
