The main objective of - completing the Library literature that provides the educational process and research universities:

1. the implementation of library acquisition fund in accordance with the needs and profile of the university departments, including subscription periodicals;

2. accounting literature (total and individual);

3. exclusion of records seized publications;

4. providing analytical and synthetic processing of documents;

5. organization, content and editing basic directories on the library;

6. the creation of bibliographic records for electronic catalogs retrospective of the Library;

7. providing advice on creating bibliographic descriptions of different types of documents, under the applicable standards.

The department is the general catalog, reflecting all the library.
